The shotgun can hold up to 8 shells inside the gun, in addition to another additional 40 shells. It can be modified by using the alternate fire button. You can modify it so it has less spread, or change it back to normal. The shotgun accepts laser sights, flashlights, reflex sights, and both types of scopes.[edit] Advantages
It excels in close quarters combat, and if you modify it so that there's less spread, it becomes a formidable mid-ranged weapon as well.
[edit] Disadvantages
You can burn through ammo extremely quick, so it is advised you only use it as a secondary weapon, or if ammo for it is plentiful. Another downside is that you have to manually adjust the spread of the pellets for maximum efficiency.
