Semi-Automatic is an underbarrel weapon attachment in Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 as well as a default firing mode for some weapons in Crysis and Crysis Warhead. It allows the player to fire one round with each pull of the trigger.

Crysis and Crysis Warhead[]

Semi-automatic is enabled by default on weapons such as the SCAR and the FY71. By pressing the "switch fire mode" button, the player can set the weapon to only fire one round each time the trigger is pulled. In game, semi-automatic firing will increase accuracy and damage.

Crysis 2 and Crysis 3[]

In Crysis 2 and 3, semi-automatic is the default weapon attachment for many automatic weapons, including the Jackal, SCARAB, Feline, and Grendel, and its effect remains unchanged from the first Crysis. Since semi-automatic is an attachment in all but name, it can't be combined with underbarrel attachments. The damage boost in singleplayer ranges from modest (Feline 65>80) to significant (Jackal pellets 130>150).

Trivia[]

  • Typhoon's Semi-Automatic fire is a burst spread instead of actual Semi-Automatic fire.
