"Seat of Power" is the eighth mission of Crysis 2.

Plot

Alcatraz awakens to find the Ceph have begun a full-scale invasion of New York City. He is introduced over his comms to Jacob Hargreave, founder of Hargreave-Rasch Biomedical, a company that helped create the Nanosuit with CryNet Systems, which Hargreave also owns. Hargreave instructs Alcatraz to fight his way past the City Hall, which is now under Ceph control. He also explains that after killing humans en masse with their toxic spores, the Ceph break them down into biomass in order to quickly and easily dispose of the poisoned bodies. Alcatraz then begins making his way towards the center of the "infestation."
