I am concerned as to whether we should be referring to enemy extraterrestrials as "aliens" or "Ceph" in articles related to games prior to Crysis 2. I personally think we should keep them labelled as Aliens because that is how they are portrayed in-game. Thoughts? Shotrocket6 10:14, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

While the quote "aliens" in crysis 1 were given a name. I would possibly rename them. They are identified in multiple trailers in crysis 2 that they are indeed ceph. I'm somewhat supporting this -Slopijoe 12:56, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

I prefer "Ceph" as that is their official given name. Using both "Aliens" and "Ceph" in the articles would cause some confusion on which is which.

Hmm... I suppose I agree. Shotrocket6 03:04, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Just figured out that in Crysis: Legion, they are called "Charybdis".

I think that is kind of a nickname, as Charybdis was a mythological sea monster. The novel doesn't go into any detail whatsoever about the etymology (I read it) but it's probably a safe assumption that it's just a simple nickname. Shotrocket6 01:40, December 23, 2011 (UTC)
