[edit] Specifics

The player can use their fists to attack enemies, similar to melee attacking with a weapon. Speed mode increases the rate at which punches can be delivered, though at the cost of seven energy. Strength mode greatly increases the damage of punches at the cost of twenty energy (ten on Warhead).

[edit] Advantages

When no other weapons are available, the player will still be able to use melee attacks. If the enemy is killed instantly, other enemies will not be alerted. Saves ammo.

[edit] Disadvantages

Dangerous to be close to enemies. In order to be effective, Armor mode cannot be activated, leaving the player much more vulnerable. Grabbing and throwing enemies may be preferable. It is rare to be without weapons in the game.
