An advanced grenade used by the KPA. They cause electro-magnetic pulse explosions that disrupt and disable any electronic devices neaby. It is unknown if US forces use them.

[edit] Description

The EMP grenade is a ball-shaped grenade, making it look different from other grenades and thus easier to avoid. EMP grenades explode into an electro-magnetic pulse that disrupts and disables electronic devices. It is a powerful anti-Nanosuit weapon since Nanosuits are disrupted and disabled for awhile as well as having a broken HUD, giving the wearer much more problems. It is rare in the game, and only found in Crysis Warhead singleplayer.

[edit] Tactics

  • Throwing it while the enemy is unaware is a good tactic, as you can move in for an easy kill.
  • Aliens in Warhead are affected by EMP grenades, use them, they will disable normal troopers instantly.

  • Alien Troopers are only affected in Warhead.
  • Its model name is the Transceiver, and its in-game name is the NanoDisruptor.
