Crysis 3Edit

Crysis 3 is the next game in the Crysis series. The game takes place in New York City in the year 2047. The main protagonist, Alcatraz (also referred to as Prophet in Crysis 2), finds New York encased in a containment dome by the C.E.L.L. Coropration. It is up to Alcatraz to make his way through the different environmental zones to stop the C.E.L.L.

Crytek: Console version of Crysis better than original PC game

Crytek has revealed that thanks to its experience with developing Crysis 2 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, they've learned enough to drastically improve the original Crysis to the point at which the new console version is superior to the 2007 PC version that pushed the limits of users' hardware.

Free CryEngine 3 SDK v1.0 Released, Crymod Becomes Crydev

It's August and, as previously announced, Crytek has now released the CryEngine 3 Software Development Kit. The SDK comes free of charge for everyone to download and use for non-commercial projects. This is the same kit that was used to make Crysis 2 and the same that the commercial licensees use.
