[edit] Plot

After failing to save the wounded marine life (Timmy Bandage from game file) and killing disabled Korean Nanosuit, Psycho continues to proceed to the airfield to complete his mission. He fights some KPA troops and is able to capture the Disabled Scout inside the container. He tries to call for extraction, but fails because of the sphere keeps emitting radio signal. He then proceeds to the control tower for the more powerful radio. He is able to contact air unit, but Alien Warrior appears, and the VTOL pilot replies that his VTOL is full. O'Neill quickly comes back to take this mission. Psycho is ordered to eliminate any alien forces around the area to secure the container. Warrior spawns Red Hunter, the more powerful variant of Hunter, to take care of enemy units around the airfield. O'Neill tells Psycho to investigate the crashed C-18. Psycho takes PAX gun, Plasma Accumulator Cannon, from the crashed aircraft, allowing him to destroy Red Hunter and other alien units. Psycho and O'Neill then move for the container. They are interrupted by Colonel Lee. Psycho fights him, and quickly overpowers him. He leaves wounded Lee on the ground as the Warrior comes back and kills Lee. Psycho and O'Neill then head back to USS Consitution.

Warhead Level 7:All the Fury

[edit] Walkthrough

[edit] Part one

Objective: Waiting for next order.

Leaving from the cutscene, listen to the order given by Emerson, which is to infiltrate the airfield, find the container and capture it, then call for transport. Knowing that, follow.

Nanosuit/Tactics: No tactic.

Objective: Infiltrate/Assault into the airfield.

Now, you know your objective. Move through the KPA soldiers, there are some of them on the rock, one LTV along the train tracks, and some more patroling around the wall and guarding the gate. Try to move into the airfield, there are two paths, the first one is to directly attack the gate, but this will alert all enemies and they will soon come to meet you. The second one is on the left, through a jungle, try to avoid some guards there using cover-to-cover cloak movement, search the wall for awhile and you will find a way to get in.

Nanosuit/Tactics: Cloak, Maximum armor, Maximum Speed. Shoot your enemy silently or sneak pass through them.

Objective: Locate the container.

Secondary Objective: Pickup or reach all hidden weapon dumps.

Now entering the airfield. You will see that there are a lots of enemies, depending on the difficult level you have selected, there are an APC, KPA soldiers patroling everywhere, and some of them standing on the top of a building with Shi Ten. Better sneak pass through them rather than risk yourself against their fire, from cover to cover. You may enter the armory for more weapons and ammuntion. Sometimes after you have entered the airfield, Emerson will give the intelligence about hidden weapon dumps.

Nanosuit/Tactics:Cloak, Maximum armor. Sneak pass through them, cover to cover. if you want to combat them, use cover and snipe enemy units.

Objective: Secure and capture the container.

Secondary Objective: Pickup or reach all hidden weapon dumps.

Coming close to the container and clearly see it. You have to eliminate some KPA soldiers near the container. First by trying to sneak to the opened hangar, destroy the APC, eliminate all soldiers there, mount the machinegun and shoot the enemies on the otherside. After all KPA soldiers around this area are eliminated, the container is yours.

Nanosuit/Tactics:Cloak, Maximum armor, Maximum Strength. Sneak pass through those around the tracks, until you reach the hangar, open fire, use cover and machinegun.

Notes: Only the elimination of some KPA soldiers are required to capture and secure the container.

[edit] Part two

Objective: Find a radio inside the control tower.

Having secured the container, radio failing gives you an order to find more powerful radio. A helicopter will land close to you, you may deal with it or avoid it.

Nanosuit/Tactics:Maximum Speed, Maximum armor. Scout the area first, then move on carefully.

There are two paths, the first one is along the runway, full of APCs. The second one is to the right of the runway, with a lot of buildings, covers, ammunition and KPA soldiers. select one of them, or go zig-zag between two paths.

If you select the runway, be sure to get an APC being cleaned by two soldiers or grab some LAWs between inside each parking lot. When you are ready, go off, carefully, shoot enemy APCs with your rockets, or avoid them, after you reach the control tower (the forward end of the runway), exit your APC, otherwise, KPA soldiers may shoot you with their LAWs.

If you select the second path, you must deal with many more KPA soldiers, though they are weak, there are many of them. Deal with all of them using cover-to-cover tactic, otherwise, you may get hurt several times. Grab as many ammunition as you can, there are many of them. Upon reaching the end, you will enter the side, there are some more advantages like machinegunners do no face directly against you, and most of defences are on the front, so this path may be much clearer.

Objective: Get to the control tower's radio.

Reaching the control tower area, try to get inside or climb from the rear, beware of KPA soldiers around here, some of them may use even Gauss Rifles. Getting inside will give you more ammunition but you have to walk through enemies and go upstair, though much safer. Climbing may expose you against gunfire, but it is behind most of enemies sight, Maximum Speed for awhile can greatly help. Upon being on the top, use the radio, cutscene will active, you may skip it or watch it.

Nanosuit/Tactics:Maximum Speed, Maximum armor, Cloak. Fight carefully, beware of machineguns, you may use the AAAs, sneak if you want.

[edit] Part three

Objective: Secure the container, destroy the Red Hunter!

Warrior flies in, spawns the Red Hunter, then flies out to somewhere. KPA soldiers will not shoot you. O'Neill now comes with you, you may take an AAA to shoot some Scouts, then help the KPA soldiers against troopers, then go off to container. O'Neill will tell you the PAX Gun is inside the crashed C-18, pick it up, but it may be too easy in dealing with aliens. Take down the Hunter, using ASV minigun, LAW rockets, gunfire, some help from KPA soldiers, and everything you have got to destroy the Hunter. After the hunter is destroyed, move on for the container.

Nanosuit/Tactics:Maximum armor. Eliminate some aliens, you may use KPA soldiers as shield, use ASV if you want, pick up PAX Gun if you want, then move on, fight the Hunter by avoiding its weapons, running around keep shooting is a good tactic, do not stay at one point for too long as the Hunter may reach you. If you have not picked up the ammunition dumps, then go for them if your ammunition runs low.

[edit] Places

All the Fury mainly takes place in the airfield. Here are some benefit-giving local places.

  • There are built-in hangar in the mountain on the otherside of the cargo section. There are many weapons and ammunition for you to pick up.
  • Opened hangar that container is placed close to, has a lots of weapons, covers, and ammunition to be used.
  • Air control tower has a table with ammo, and on the middle level has Gauss Rifles for picking up.
  • Buildings path has many ammo and weapons to pickup.
  • In the crashed C-18, other than the PAX casebox, many ammunition of US Army weapons can be found here.
  • All parking areas have ammunition, grenades, LAWs and mines for picking up.
  • Armory camp structure in the cargo section has many ammunition and KPA weapons for picking up.
  • Weapon dumps can be found at --
  1. Among the containers facing towards the gate.
  2. Near the container, between both hangars, and behind the damaged containers.
  3. On the side of the opened hangar, behind two containers placed vertically on one of them.
  • The first parking area has an APC being cleaned by two KPA soldiers.

[edit] Secret Ending

If you pick up and throw all 7 frogs in all previous levels, the bonus ending will be unlocked. The ending instead replaces the container with a giant frog. When O'Neill takes a close look, the frog go cloak. But when they are going to extract the frog, it instead turns back to the container. The frog looks around while it is still active, this also makes other characters who are involving with it seem to be stupid.

[edit] Notes

  • This mission is the remake of Airfield level of Crysis, which was not integrated into the full game. In it, Nomad has to fight a Hunter along with fellow marines and now-friendly Korean Soldiers.
  • After the Warrior appears. KPA troopers ignore the player. They can be used as targets for aliens and you may help them protect the airfield. After the Red Hunter dies, the surviving KPA still ignores you.
  • The crashed C-18 is available in the Crysis game files.
  • A frog is inside a small KPA building inside a freezer. Grab the frog and if you have grabbed and thrown all previous frogs, Psycho will say," Oi, not bad. Back to work!!"
